how amazing would it be if there was some sort of lottery or gambling thing in the game. You can pay a certain amount and get a ticket, and you win gold or tolkens. These tolkens can then be traded into someone who will give you special rare weopons, mods, etc that can only be accessed in this way. A slot machine idea would also be cool. Put your money in and out comes even more gold. Or . . .poker matches or other games that pit players against each other that can score you large amounts of money. I know that i could spend hours just doing these things so how cool would that be!!!

There is already gambling in the game. It's called Chests and Keys. Buy keys, go find a chest and *maybe* get an item worth a lot more than the key.

If you would rather play poker or slots there are many sites online where you can indulge. GW isn't one of them.

A lottery would be cool. Every hour there could be a drawing. Buy a ticket and wait to see if yours is announced. It could be announced in the town where you buy it. Only available in one town. It would be a hard town to reach.

Just buy a key. Go out and find the nearest chest. Use key to open chest.

I agree with Monty. The key will probably be closest you will see in this game. Might have something to do with not having to change the game rating from teen to adult.

There is a lottery every 12 minutes called the hall of heroes chest. It never gives me anything

Hmm, something to make the game more like Diablo 2? Sign me up! I so loved good ol' Gheed and his travelling wares.

Would be cool if they made something like a collector, thrown into the middle of a dangerous mob-filled zone, and for a price you could buy an unidentified item or two. Would be like chests, except you wouldn't need to carry keys with ya. Might even be better if you could decide what kind of item (again, like Diablo). That way, you could buy a sword that sucked, but hey, at least it was a sword.

That's exactly how I got rich in that game. Gamble for circlets/coronets, if it's +3 skills and 20 faster cast rate, stuff 2 sockets into it. Voila~ you get a few High Runes.

I'd like a lottery though :/

i sorta like the idea but not alot im thinking maybe turn this into a new type of pvp like do 1 on 1 pvp with other people and make and bet on themselves
